Past and present activities include:
Entertainment software. Penned critically-acclaimed dialogue for the major Electonic Arts video game Need For Speed: Undercover (reviews here), wrote help docs for TSR/Wizards of the Coast’s top-selling Dragon Magazine Archive, and co-designed an as-yet-unproduced massively multiplayer online strategy game.
Arts and entertainment journalism. Reviews, previews, and interviews for print and online entertainment media. Currently the Senior Arts & Entertainment Editor at UQ Events.
Commercial web sites. Content creation for a wide variety of online web sites and businesses.

Comedy. Produced, wrote and performed one-man musical comedy shows at 11 Canadian Fringe festivals. Perform stand-up comedy around Vancouver. Won several awards as a student playwright and filmmaker.
Weekly newspapers. Was a prolific writer and editor at The Peak, Simon Fraser University’s student newspaper; handled everything from classified ads, columns and comic strips to the top editorial position.
Academic/ESL. Edited and proofread papers for ESL students and teachers here and abroad, including a foreign professor at a major California university. Can also tutor Vancouver-based ESL students in business and conversational English (one year experience teaching English in South Korea).
Ghost writing. Ooo, spooky.
